ELYSE DASHEW
is an at-large member of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education. She was elected in 2015 and has served as Vice Chair of the School Board for three years.
Elyse is a tireless and proven champion for all children of Mecklenburg County and in 2017, led the school board’s successful $922 million bond referendum. As a fierce advocate for public education, Elyse collaborates effectively with elected officials and community partners throughout the county, state, and country to create the opportunities that CMS students need and deserve.
